10.05.06 - new feature added, the buddy mapping system.  add yourself to the map to show the geographic spread of bo.monro fans!  shows updated as well

09.03.06 - whoa! been roughly six months since the ole news section had the dust wiped off of it.  although for the record i did do a little updating since then and just forgot to note it.  anyway, i am very excited for the music right now!  i feel like i have been reborn again and i am starting anew (boy wouldnt that be something) but seriously, the scape of bo.monro's music is about to get much deeper.  recently acquired a glockenspiel and an AB footswitch pedal that will allow me to incorporate a whole new aspect into the music, giving it a new level.  on top of that i have found someone who may eventually become a fixture in the band, giving me some company on stage, which will be great.  he is a talented musician and will add alot to the tunes.  i am currently working on the next album and i would say out of ten im about 9.5 when it comes to pumped up to release this one (there is still some uncertainty and ad lib, but overall i am really excited about where my music has been taking me as of late.) ok, well this is officially the longest news update in the history of bomonro.com and we here on staff at bomonro.com thank you for reading this!  -sam (bo.monro)

01.29.06 - well first things first, just noticed that the date was wrong in the prior news entry, even though it was acknowledged that the year was in fact 2006.  sorry for our amateur webstaff here at bomonro.com.  that being said several gig posters were added to the visual section. 

1.10.05 - welcome to 2006 everyone.  decided to use new format for the mm.dd.yy in the news section.  kind of exciting, not.  anyway snow lights and sound was put on by browntown booking out of red wing, mn on december 30, 2005 and it was quite successful!  over 100 people showed up for the local artists.  photos have been added of snow lights and sound along with the performance from the 30th of nov. thanks to stacy bengs for taking excellent pictures of these shows! woot.  well this has been a nerdy news entry.  thanks again for checkin this site out.  bio has been updated as well.

12/11/05 - the bits variety show went off without a hook.  bo.monro opened the show up with a couple of tunes.  hope to have the video of this performance uploaded before too long so check back!  Snow Lights and Sound has been added to the shows page. 

11/30/05 - thank you everyone who listened at the manhatton loft! it was the debut performance with the organ, a few kinks in the system but overall i would call it a success (double thanks to those of you who went to the same place to see me play twice!)

10/22/05 - bomonro.com goes on the air!  as you can see we are just beginning the workings of this site.  i can guarantee you that ned and sam are cooking up something fierce which you will be able to see sometime in the future.  but with statements like that, anything could be true.  thanks for looking around, it means a lot to me.  -bo.monro
